Reed qalam pens are made from river reeds, one of the oldest materials used to make calligraphy pens. The lengthy curing process of the reeds ensures they are very supple and easy to cut making them a pen of choice even for present day masters of Arabic calligraphy.
These reeds have wider diameter and feel 'chunkier' in hand. Pens are between 21- 23 cm long.
