Mehmet Hulûsi Yazgan (1868-1940), known simply as Hulusi Efendi was one of the great classical Ottoman calligraphy masters and is considered by many as the last master of the Turkish Taliq script.
After brief introduction in Turkish, the book follows the usual format of mashq books and presents the individual letters, letter combinations, words and phrases as prepared by Hulusi for his students to copy.
