Believed to be developed by Turkish calligrapher Aref Hekmat this relatively new script was not used widely but it is experiencing a revival.
Though the workbook is in Arabic it can be easily followed by non-Arabic speakers as pictures clearly show all the strokes as well as their order and proportions.
The workbook focuses on isolated forms of letters only and offers a lot of space for practice. It is made from 130 gsm semigloss paper with low porosity enabling pen to glide easily and without bleeding.
