This German made Herlitz pen set for Arabic calligraphy features one plastic pen barrel with ergonomic grip and 3 interchangeable steel nib units.
The full set contains:
- Single pen body with push lid
- 3 exchangeable nib units in sizes 1.1, 1.7 and 2.1 mm (sizes marked on packaging are original sizes before the nibs were ground for Arabic calligraphy)
- 4 ink cartridges (black, pink, purple and turquoise)
Nibs of these pens have been manually ground for Arabic calligraphy and to ensure clear lines compromising slightly on the smoothness of the glide. Small sheet of extra fine sanding paper is included with each fountain pen order to fine-tune the nibs' glide but the pens still need to be used with light hand. As each pen has been tested, you might find traces of ink on the nib, or cartridge already inserted.
We do not recommend these pens if you are rather heavy handed as you will find them scratching the paper.
