Bamboo qalams are probably the most widely used type of pen primarily because bamboo sticks are widely available and are very easy to shape and cut. Their main disadvantage is that they require frequent re-cutting.
Our bamboo nibs have been shaped from wider and stronger parts of spotted bamboo and last considerably longer between cuts. Nibs are set in beautiful turned wood handles painted brown.
This set contains 8 pens in sizes 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 mm.
To increase longevity of the nib, use water-based inks and always clean the nib after use.
